Sign-in, the database, the build system and the status page run on our own servers in Paris, so no extra vendor sees them.

Thirty days' notice

Before we add or replace a company on this list, we tell you at least 30 days ahead, and you can object.

No US cloud underneath.

Hosting in Europe means little if a US provider runs a layer below it. These are the kinds of company we chose not to use at all.

  • No US hyperscaler. No AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or Cloudflare anywhere in the stack.
  • No third-party error tracking service. Errors go to our own monitoring, hosted in Paris.
  • No external spam scoring or CAPTCHA API. Form spam filtering runs entirely on our own infrastructure.
  • No analytics SaaS and no advertising trackers, on your sites or in the dashboard. Our own analytics are self-hosted and cookie-free.

A DPA on every plan

The data processing agreement comes with every plan, Free included, with no form to request it.

VAT handled in the EU

You buy from Creem, an EU merchant of record. Prices include VAT, and businesses with a VAT number are reverse-charged.

Where the data does leave the EU.

  • Copies of site files The files of your published site are replicated to Bunny.net storage in New York, Singapore and São Paulo so they load fast worldwide. Nothing else of yours is replicated.
  • Card payments Creem can process a card through Stripe (US), under EU standard contractual clauses. Your invoice and VAT stay with Creem in Estonia.

Public files are also cached at CDN edge locations worldwide. That is what a CDN is for, and it only ever holds what you published.

Is deploybase GDPR compliant?

We are a Dutch company, our servers and database are in Paris, and every subprocessor is headquartered in the EU. The data processing agreement is included on every plan, Free too, and names the same four companies. Compliance for your own site still depends on what your site collects.

Do visitors outside Europe get a slow site?

No. Your public files are served from Bunny.net's edge locations around the world, so a visitor in Tokyo is answered from nearby. What is cached there is what you published, never your account data or form submissions.

What happens when a subprocessor changes?

We tell you at least 30 days before adding or replacing one, and you can object in that time.
