Can it be on my own name?
Yes, on every plan. Add your domain, set two records at your registrar, and the certificate arrives on its own. On one real domain it took 118 seconds from adding the domain to a working certificate.

Example values. Your registrar has no ALIAS? Use www with a CNAME, which works everywhere.
Can a client see it before it goes live?
Push a branch and it gets its own address, while your live site stays as it is. For a client, make a share link to exactly that version, with a password if you like, and revoke it when you are done.

How do people get in touch?

Do I need a cookie banner?
Not because of us. These are the headers a real portfolio on deploybase sends a visitor's browser, with the CDN's diagnostic lines left out and the domain swapped for example.com: no cookie, no script, nothing to ask consent for.

What a portfolio cannot do here yet.
- A password on the whole site Share links carry a password; your live site itself cannot be put behind one yet.
- Editing in the browser There is no visual editor or CMS. You build the site in your own tools and push it.
- HTTP functions on Free HTTP functions come with paid plans, in beta. A contact form needs none.

Is the free plan enough for a portfolio?
For most, yes. Free includes one site on your own domain with a certificate, 100 GB of traffic and 200 build minutes a month, 100 form submissions a month and three share links at a time, with no card needed.
PricingDo I need a cookie banner for my portfolio?
Not because of us: hosting on deploybase adds no cookies and no scripts to your site. If you add analytics, embeds or fonts that set cookies, those are yours to account for.
Which tools can I build it with?
Anything that produces static files: Astro, Hugo, SvelteKit, Next.js as a static export, Jekyll, plain HTML, or a site an AI tool wrote for you. Push it from Git, or upload the built folder.
